	In 1994 he builded up his own studio in Hamburg and produced music for television documentaries and movies. he was rewarded for his music for a highlyregarded documentary about "the war in vietnam".On his research to express his view of electronic music beyond presets and pure club beats, he released the CD S.T.A.R. "simply travelling around reality in 1996 and produced the EP "stretch your hands out" (1998) and the 2 albums "cocoon" (2001) and "trespass" (2003) under the project name "field". In 2005 he formed the electro-jazz trio "feldneun" with an acoustic bassplayer and and a trumpet player. on their debut CD, released in 2006, they are "...developing a series of dense, atmospheric soundscapes that resist any clearcategorization and create new space for association..." as the german magazin "Die Zeit" wrote in a review. http://www.myspace.com/uwehaas
